  • Q:

    Are liveKando bottles BPA-Free?

Yep! We are 100% BPA-, BPS- and BPF-free.

  • Q:

Does a liveKando bottle fit into a cup holder?

Perfectly. Snug as a bug for most standard cup holders.

  • Q:

Can I put my bottle in the freezer?

Please don’t! Freezing your bottle can warp or change its shape. This means you run the risk the bottle will no longer be leakproof.

  • Q:

Can I put my bottle in the microwave?

Not a good idea! The heat and pressure can potentially change its shape. This means you run the risk the bottle will no longer be leakproof.

  • Q:

Can I put my bottle in the dishwasher?

Try not to make it a habit, as high heat and pressure can weaken the bottle’s durability.

  • Q:

Can I put other liquids in the bottle?

It is not intended to be use with hot, carbonated or perishable liquids.

  • Q:

Can I put hot liquids in my bottle?

The bottles are designed to withstand liquid to a maximum temperature of 70°C. They are not recommended to be used for boiling liquids.

  • Q:

Can I put ice in my bottle?

Yep! Go ahead. The unique opening design is perfect for adding ice to your water.

  • Q:

Can I put lemon slices into my bottle?

Of course, feel free to add a refreshing slice of lemon. In general, we would suggest not doing this or adding any acidic liquids to the bottle too often as they can damage the material properties and cause the bottle to smell.

  • Q:

How do I clean my liveKando bottle?

Easy peasy! Simply wash with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

  • Q:

Can I boil or sterilize the bottle?

You can only boil and sterilize the outer silicone band and the inner clear silicone parts. Other parts will not withstand hot water or steam sterilization.

  • Q:

Will my bottle break if dropped?

In our quality tests, we’ve found them to be durable and shatter-resistant, but we wouldn’t recommend dropping them from a height on purpose.

  • Q:

What can I do about scratches on my bottle?

Over time, scratches on the handle are perfectly normal, as this is made from a softer material than the main body of the bottle. If the body has become really scratched up, have no fear—try upcycling the lower part as a pencil holder, vase and more.

  • Q:

How can I upcycle the bottle?

We’re always coming up with new ideas! You can use it as a vase if it can still hold liquid. You could also use it as a pencil holder or a cup for makeup brushes, craft materials, or kitchen supplies. You can also share your upcycle ideas with us @livekando.

It’s best to store it in a dry and hygienic environment away from high temperatures, direct sunlight and abrasive materials.

    Leaking bottle

If your bottle is leaking during its first use, this is likely a manufacturing defect, and we will endeavor to replace it straight away. If it has only started leaking after use, this is usually because the silicone gasket and band are not properly in place. Check they are correctly aligned; that should help.
